Bio

AnnCharlotte Tavolacci, an alumna of the School of Visual Arts (BFA) and Long Island University (MA), resides and runs her artist studio and private practice in the farm country of eastern Long Island with her husband, seven-year-old daughter, and cat.

As a Fine Artist, Art Therapist, and Creative Life Coach, her career is a deep synthesis of the fine arts and psychology. In her coaching practice, AnnCharlotte works with clients to creatively explore the balance between life and career, helping them identify and achieve new goals that lead to authentic joy.

Her extensive background in education includes serving as a Graduate Professor at Long Island University and teaching across various colleges and charter schools. Her curriculum has spanned fine arts, psychology, and specialized portfolio development. Prior to her move out east, she spent many years in NYC and LA as a Fine Art Activist and Therapeutic Specialist for a government non-profit, supporting homeless and mentally ill residents.

A recognized speaker at national institutions, AnnCharlotte has been featured in solo gallery and museum exhibitions across the United States and has completed prestigious artist residencies throughout the US and Canada. Her work operates from a confessional platform, examining the intersection of symbolism, nature, and the internal cycle of recreation.

Currently, AnnCharlotte is developing a book—Guardians of the Sacred Core—a large-scale painting and personal writing series exploring the delicate balance of inner strength and gratitude through universality and animal symbolism. These paintings draw inspiration from nature’s majestic creatures; beasts like the ram, with its fragile grace and commanding presence, each embody a dance of vulnerability and might.

In the whirlwind of daily life, we often lose sight of our sacred core, allowing inner strengths to fade amid the chaos that surrounds us. Right now, color lives in her work as a surreal explosion of energy that lights the flame. She is deeply committed to weaving her soul into the fabric of the world, preserving the primitive and creative integrity of her art. To AnnCharlotte, these vivid hues are not just aesthetic choices, but the literal visual frequencies of our inner flame, vulnerability, and spiritual might.

We invite you to join AnnCharlotte as she develops Guardians of the Sacred Core. This is an invitation to join the march to reignite our inner core—placing our ear to the ground together in universality to listen to our inner senses and find authentic joy. This body of work will culminate in a forthcoming companion book and creative workbook. Stay tuned for updates as we embark on this hands-on path to rediscovery together.
